Designer Recruitment are seeking a Technical Co-Ordinator to work with a luxury interiors company in the South West London area. Our client is a multi-award-winning company that creates beautiful bespoke kitchens and furniture.
This position is paying up to £40,000 per annum for the right Technical Co-Ordinator.
Technical Co-ordinator duties:
- Developing and producing high-quality technical work as part of the furniture production process
- Taking design documents issued to the production department and producing an FM pack
- Check and modification of the front sheet
- Building of the technical specification
- Building of the invoice, including communication with accounts to obtain accurate information

Thoroughly checking all the drawings and modifications
- Preparation of the services drawings

Preparing digital images of all appliances supplied by our client
- Completing live schedules detailing what stage projects are at through to the point of agreeing to a delivery date for the client/factory to work towards
- Printing and binding of a hard copy of the project for dispatch to the client
- Establishing and maintaining clear, professional verbal and written communication with Clients & 3rd parties
- Answering any client queries during the FM pack stage and once released to the factory

Sending out and following up on requests for payment and ensuring the client has signed the T&Cs before proceeding with a project
- Communicating with the client on the proposed delivery and agreeing on a final date with them
This would be an excellent position for someone who is technically minded and comes with a sound understanding of luxury kitchens and interiors.
Other duties include:
- Supporting client/ designers by carrying out project amendments and reissuing the pack to the client for approval

Producing accurate drawings for metal work, placing orders and liaising with suppliers/factory/installations

Following the internal final check-off system
- Following the revision procedure for when amendments are made after the project is issued to the factory
- Supporting the Installation Team with further requests for information and/or necessary drawings for items needing rework, reproducing or ordering

Participating as a vital member of the team, supporting colleagues as cover during leave, and working together to create a friendly and professional working environment
Skills & Experience Required:
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Technical Co-Ordinator in the kitchen, furniture, or interior design
industry
• Strong Vectorworks skills ideal
• Solid understanding of kitchen design, cabinet construction, and joinery principles
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Effective communicator, able to liaise confidently across departments
