Designer Recruitment are seeking a Spray Shop Manager for a luxury interiors company in the Oxfordshire area. This is a permanent position offering up to £50,000 per annum for the right Spray Shop Manager.
Our client have built a reputation on producing the very finest interiors on the market. The finisher will need to have exceptional quality standards and an eye for detail.
Spray Shop Manager duties:
- Managing the production line in the spray shop
- Managing a team of skilled furniture sprayers
- Managing workloads of all sprayers and ensuring projects are completed of the highest standards
- Reporting to the Head of Production all progress and any issues
- Quality check and prepare woodwork pre-finishing, to the highest levels of detail
- Spray priming, lacquering & paint finishing using water-based and PU finishes
- Whilst not essential spraying
- Paint finish preparation
- Managing workflow to maximise department efficiency
- Workshop and machinery maintenance and environmental management
- Reporting to Spray shop manager
Candidate Profile:
- Management experience essential
- We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual with the skills to finish our exceptional products to a very high level
- Applicants must have at least 2 years’ previous practical experience in high-end furniture spray finishing
- Previous experience and knowledge in water-based and PU products is a must
- Applicants must have the knowledge to achieve perfect results without a mentor
- A good understanding and experience in staining is a must
- Previous experience in liquid metal finishes and high gloss will put you at a distinct advantage
- We are looking for someone with the confidence and experience to contribute toward department improvements
- A good understanding of efficient workflow and project organisation is a key attribute for the role

- Salary guide £40,000 - £50,000 pa depending on experience
- Additional holiday awarded for long service (Years 3,4 & 5)
