Designer Recruitment are working on rare opportunity to find a Kitchen Showroom Designer for our well-established client in the UK.
This role will encorporate Designing the companies' showrooms internally across the UK.
This is a permanent role offering £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
We are seeking a creative, customer-focused Kitchen Showroom Designer to join the team. In this role, you will work closely with our client's showrooms to design beautiful, functional kitchens that suit their brand, space, and budget. This is not a sales-based role but will require travel across the UK to various showrooms and franchise partners.
Showroom Designer duties:
- Work with showroom managers and senior designers to assertain the requirements for the showroom updates.
- Understand the showroom requirements, preferences, and budgets to develop tailored kitchen designs.
- Produce detailed kitchen plans and 3D visualisations using Compusoft Winner design software.
- Recommend products, appliances, worktops, and accessories that complement the overall design.
- Prepare accurate quotations.
- Manage projects from initial enquiry through to order placement and handover.
- Liaise with suppliers, installers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Keep up to date with current kitchen design trends, products, and industry innovations.
- Maintain an attractive, organised, and well-presented showroom appearance.
- Ensure all showroom records, quotations, and design files are accurately maintained.
Essential Showroom Designer experience:
- Previous experience in kitchen design, ideally designing kitchen showroom layouts and not just kitchens
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Experience using kitchen design or CAD software, preferably Compusoft Winner.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Confident in preparing quotations and closing sales.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Desirable
- Experience within the kitchen, bathroom, or home improvement industry.
- Knowledge of kitchen installation processes and building regulations.
- Experience working towards sales targets or KPIs.
