Designer Recruitment are seeking a highly capable and self-motivated Project Manager to work for a luxury interiors company who deal with both retail and commercial clients. In this role, you will cover London and the Home Counties.
This position is paying £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + a car and a bonus incentive.
This is a pivotal client-facing role that requires strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage high-value, design-led projects to the highest standards.
Project Manager duties:
- Oversee projects from the point of order through to completion
- Take full ownership of projects post-order, managing all stages from design development through manufacture and installation
- Drive project sign-offs and design variations, working closely with the company's sales, design and technical teams to ensure timely approvals
- Act as the lead client contact, maintaining excellent relationships and clear communication throughout
- Liaise with interior designers, architects, quantity surveyors, and main contractors to coordinate schedules
- Manage budgets, variations and overall project performance
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, profitable and to the company's exacting quality standards
- Uphold health & safety and regulatory compliance at all stages
- Travel as required to projects across the UK, particularly super-prime London and Cheshire
Project Manager profile
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence managing UHNW clients and professional teams
- Strong ability to work independently, with sound judgement and initiative
- Commercially astute, with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and variation control
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple complex projects
- Willing and able to travel regularly
- Passion for interior design and architecture, with a desire to grow and develop within a design-led environment
