Designer Recruitment are working with a fantastic company who supply luxury bespoke kitchens and bedrooms, with all their products sourced from Italy. Based in based in the North London area, we're looking to recruit an experienced Kitchen Designer to join our client.
This is a permanent role offering £35,000 per annum - an uncapped commission.
Kitchen Designer duties incuding but not limited too:
- Designing high-end bespoke kitchens (and bedrooms) for private clients, from first consultation to final specification
- Working closely with their talian manufacturers on drawings, specifications and orders
- Undergoing regular trips to Italy to visit manufacturing partners, see new collections and attend trade events
- Performing in a sales and design role, based in a North London showroom
- Dealing with any remedials that may need to be done
- Working with the wider team to ensure a smooth running to the business
- Providing a good follow up service with clients to ensure they are happy
- Presenting designs to clients and arranging follow up meetings
- Booking in appointments and converting design enquiries
The Kitchen Designer:
- Proven experience designing luxury or bespoke kitchens, ideally with Italian or European brands
- Fluent English is essential. Italian is preferred. Because their products come from Italy, the designer will deal directly with their suppliers. A fluent Spanish speaker with a strong design background would also be considered.
- Confident with CAD software such as AutoCAD, 2020, KD Max or SketchUp, and producing client-ready visuals
- A polished, client-facing manner suited to high-value projects
- Living within commuting distance of (North London / Hertfordshire), and happy to travel to Italy regularly
Package
- Basic salary of £35,000, plus uncapped commission
- Regular business travel to Italy, with expenses paid
- Company car/van available for work use
