Designer Recruitment are delighted to be working with an established luxury kitchen design business, who are looking for an ambitious Junior Kitchen Designer to join their team in South West London.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Designer with around 1-3 years’ experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and develop their skills within an exceptionally high-end design environment.

The successful candidate will work closely alongside an experienced designer, supporting prestigious residential projects where attention to detail, quality and a strong understanding of the kitchen design process are essential.

Although this is a role suited to someone who is still developing their career, the level of projects means that previous kitchen design experience is important. You will need to have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of kitchen design and be confident working within a high-quality, detail-focused environment.

The Role

• Supporting the Senior Designer across a range of high-end residential kitchen projects

• Assisting with the development of kitchen designs from initial concepts through to detailed proposals

• Producing accurate and considered designs and drawings

• Supporting with client presentations and communication throughout projects

• Helping to develop design solutions that reflect the individual requirements of each client

• Liaising with suppliers, contractors and other project stakeholders where required

• Assisting with the progression of projects through to completion

• Developing your knowledge of high-end kitchen design, materials and finishes

• Working closely with the wider team to ensure an exceptional level of service and attention to detail

• Progressively taking on greater responsibility as your experience develops

About You

We are looking for a passionate Kitchen Designer who is ready to develop their career within the luxury end of the market.

You will ideally have:

• Around 1-3 years’ experience within kitchen design 

• A solid understanding of the kitchen design process

• Good technical and design knowledge

• Strong attention to detail and an appreciation for quality

• The ability to produce accurate, considered kitchen designs

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A professional and polished approach when dealing with clients

• A genuine passion for interiors and high-end design

• The ambition to learn, develop and progress within the business

• The ability to work collaboratively alongside an experienced designer

• A full UK driving licence

• The ability to commute to the showroom
