Designer Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager or Area Sales Manager to relocate to the UAE, Dubai.
You will be joining a global kitchen brand who are well known in the industry.
We are looking for a sales professional to join the Business Development Team in the UAE and actively support the sales growth plan. This role is located in Dubai with travel required across MENA, Asia and Africa regions.

- Location: Dubai (with remote working)
- Full time (40 hours a week – Monday to Friday)
- Willing to travel extensively in MENA, Asia, and African regions.
Business Development Manager duties:
- Understand client needs, build and maintain excellent relationships with clients and colleagues
- Active involvement in distributor / partners and overall sales process (Retail & Projects)
- Set sales targets and define strategy to ensure targets are achieved
- Specify the brand to the leading developers, consultants and interior designers in the region
- Work closely with the marketing team in developing and implementing plans in line with the overall brand strategy and thereafter support marketing activities
- Conduct training for staff of the distributor / partner
- Responsible for MIS on various business development activities
- Coordinate between the German / HQ factories, Middle East office and distributors / partners
- Manage the proposal development process and maintain the timelines for the proposal teams
- Develop draft proposals based on team meetings and discussions
- Maintain the Business Development databases.
Qualifications/experience
- Management / business related degree
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in new business sales and key account management, in Kitchens
- Candidates who are in similar fields such as Furniture and Building materials will also be considered
- Value-based selling experience, including engagement with executive, director level clients
- Proficiency in the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a demonstrated track record of building and converting sales opportunities
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment / multi-national company
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, especially with senior stakeholders
- Self-driven, highly motivated, able to work independently and set priorities
- Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
- Computer literate and proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales related ERP
- Due to the target markets, the ideal candidate must be fluent in English
