Designer Recruitment are working with a fantastic Kitchen Manufacturer who are seeking an Account Manager to strengthen their sales and account management team to maintain and grow their network of retail partners, while identifying future opportunities that align with a design-led ethos.
This is a permanent opportunity that can suit an Account Manager early on in their career or a Senior Account Manager who can provide more expertise. 
Account Manager: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Senior Account Manager £45,000 - £65,000 per annum 
 
We are ultimately recruiting for two Account Managers, ideally covering Northern and Southern regions of the UK. The initial focus will be on the Southern portfolio, with key territories including Manchester, Leeds, and West of London.

Role Overview
We’re not looking for a traditional sales representative focused solely on transactional deals. We are seeking someone who can build long-term, trust-based relationships with our retail partners and help our business grow strategically over time.
For us this is as much about cultural fit, as it is about appetite to grow technical knowledge and nationwide relationships. 
 
Account Manager requirements
	- Manage and grow relationships with existing retailers while identifying new potential partners aligned with the company's brand and quality standards.
	- Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for product, technical detail, and manufacturing processes, with the ability to discuss design and production confidently.
	- Travel regularly across the assigned territory, including overnight stays, to support retailers and ensure excellent account management.
	- Collaborate with in-house design, production, and processing teams to ensure seamless translation of retailer requirements into delivered projects.
 
Account Manager profile:
	- Experience in account management, sales, or technical support within the kitchen, furniture, or related design-led industries.
	- Strong technical understanding of furniture production or interest in developing expertise.
	- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships with independent retailers.
	- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable with a field-based role requiring travel and flexibility.
